So much for taking a break

I thought I was going to start my period yesterday, because I had been having the headaches and cramps. We were also taking a break this cycle from Clomid. I refilled my Clomid and bought some pads.

Well, yesterday came and went with no period. I woke up this morning, a little sick to my stomach. I kept thinking maybe I'm pregnant, but really doubted it because I've never been pregnant without Clomid. I decided to buy a test, knowing it would be negative, just to keep from torturing myself with the what if's.

I bought the test, came home, ate my lunch and then peed on the stick. It was positive. I am in shock. I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around all of it. I called Brian to tell him, and he's in shock, too.

We are very, very happy but scared to death, too. This baby is due Nov. 30.

Tamara - I hope with you every month (even though you don't even know me) and check your charts when you post them. I'm so happy to see this post! While I haven't had a loss like yours I at least know a little of that shock and nervousness to be pregnant after my own 2 m/c. This is fantastic. I know Jenna and your Granny are rejoicing with you too.

I've been following your story since last summer on BBC. Just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is SOOOOO great! I had to do clomid to get pregnant with my 3yo son, and with my Dec 2008 baby my clomid appointment turned into a first OB appointment since I got pregnant (shockingly) completely on my own! It's great when your body cooperates with your desires!

Sending healthy thoughts and sticky vibes to this little one!
